Come on, let’s get serious. No one can do his own door panels. That’s an area you have to leave to the professionals, right? Not at all! RodDoors have revolutionized this aspect of truck customizing with preformed door panels that simply need to be trimmed to fit and then covered with material for a very professional look.

We’ve seen plenty of street rods and trucks with these doors and decided it was time to try some Designer Door Panels for ourselves. We weren’t disappointed. The door panels (with kick panels, too) arrived just a few days after we ordered them, and the installation instructions encouraged us to get started right away.

The panels are made out of 0.125-inch ABS plastic. They’re attached to the door with the 3M Dualloc Adhesive System (hook-and-loop, commonly called Velcro). Follow along as we enter the forbidden zone of do-it-yourself custom door panel fabrication.
